One Year Later...

One year later
2 jobs, one post grad program at the university, one toddler, one husband and one very stressful year I have not crafted. However, I do see potential for craftiness very very soon....I get summers OFF!! yeah! I have to go to work 5 more Mondays and the following days and then my 35 hour per week job is done for a couple months. I will get crafty again, I will I will I will.....

back in the swing

I used up a lot of my craftiness making that baby, and continuing to take care of him. But I found myself extremely irritable, moody and mad all the time. I decided that its because I no longer have my stress outlet....creating crafts and art work!!!
I am finally making a commitment to at least one hour a day (night actually, right after AC's bed time specifically) to either work on swap items, or my own creations! I have been absorbed in the Cloth Paper Scissors Magazine and want so badly to start creating stuff again...maybe a little bit more artistic and less crafty this time...we shall see
well, mr. I am not wearing my glasses just turned on the soundtrack for the movie RENT and I didnt even know we had I better see what buttons he of my creations to come

Anthony is here

anthony, mommy and daddy, Birth-Day!

He is not really a craft project but my biggest project ever, Anthony Craig Manton is here. I cannot believe that I actually made this little guy. He grew inside me for 8 1/2 months. He was 2 or 3 weeks early, depending on who you talk to. He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 20 inches long. He has just enough brown hair and had dark blue eyes that most likely will turn brown. We are getting used to his routine and just starting to understand how he has and will change our lives.

I would love to trade some craft supplies for handmade baby stuff, either sewn, knitted, crocheted, anything handmade for my baby boy. Blankets, toys, clothes, hats, socks, shoes, decor! Anthony Craig is due in July and I would love to have a nursery full of handmade love from all over.

I would be willing to trade the following things:

1. envelopes/ boxes full of paper and such ephemera, great for ATCs, handmade cards, decoupage, etc

2. Fabric scraps, various types and prints

3. Upholstery samples, various textures, colors, themes

Also, I have some old patterns, some craft books and other random craft supplies!!
Send me (WYOKrista) a PM in
